Congrats

In addition to our little contest with the HHT "Experts" we were also embroiled in a little playoff pool with some of the other fine bloggers in the Score's Sports Federation.

In these tough economic times it was agreed that instead of the winner taking everyone's money and blowing it on a ShamWow that the loser's would reward the winning blogs with a congratulatory post on their blogs.

We won't even mention the results of the pool, I believe they may have perished in some sort of tragic fire-type-thing... the details are all very sketchy...  but nonetheless, we do recall that there was a tie at the top of the standings between the Canucks Hockey Blog and Down Goes Brown.  So to the two of them, we say CONGRATS... well done, top shelf mates.... visit them, cherish them.

That got us thinking, wait a tick... a Canucks' blog and a Leafs' blog sharing???...  

Aren't these the same two teams that have shared Pat Quinn over the years and shared Brian Burke over the years.  That's a lot of sharing of bombastic, grey-haired, pink-faced Irishmen over the years...

They shared Tiger Williams over the years... hell, Leafs "shared" him with the 'Nucks in 1980 to get Rick Vaive to come east... 

They shared the Courtnall's... Leafs had Rusty Courtnall (until they had the chance to get John Kordic), the Canucks had Geoff Courtnall... and their crazy legs and panty-removing good looks were a sight to behold...

They've shared a mustache... we're betting that Harold Snepsts must have donated his to Ian White cause there's no way Snepsts would let that thing die and there's no chance White came up with that idea on his own...

... Well I think this just proves... actually not sure what we were trying to prove... but we had time to kill.  Alright, gotta go, starting to get freaked out, swear Geoff Courtnall's eyes follow you no matter where you move.  Congrats, again, to the Canucks Hockey Blog and Down Goes Brown.
