Fantasy Hockey Scouts: The Top 10 - Calder Candidates

Top Ten'sOne common fantasy folly is getting carried away drafting the hot rookie of the year too early. Last year, we saw breakouts from rookies like Steve Mason and Kris Versteeg but others like Kyle Turris and Nikita Filatov failed to live up to their billing. These rookies have a good situation to succeed and might pull it off this year... just don’t get caught up in the hype.

Are we geniuses?  Are we idiots?  Either way, we encourage any debate or discussion.  Give us your two cents with a comment or an email.

Why are we getting the feeling Cody Hodgson is going to make us look stupid for putting him at #6?

Just working on our list for our Top 10 Superstar Breakouts make sure you come back and check it out soon.

Yeah, Cody's been blowing his big chance but just when it looked like he might be going back to Brampton, Gilbert Brule's face broke Jannik Hansen's hand and he's out 4-6 weeks. Could be CoHo's big break... should get at least a 9 game audition.

It's nice that Gilbert Brule might actually help my fantasy team for once!
