The sked finally picks up this week with nine teams playing 4 games. We'll be watching to see if Colorado can continue their dream start during a tough road trip and there's also a few juicy homecomings involving Burkie, Havlat, Gaborik & Komisarek.

- Colorado - 4 on the road makes for a tough week for top team in West
- Minnesota - 2 at home, where they're undefeated, & 2 on the road, where they're winless
- Montreal - includes 2 easy ones at home (NYI, Tor) and 2 tough roadies (Pit, Chi)
- NYI - get 3 of the top 4 teams in East (NYR, @Wsh, Buf)
- NYR - including Gaborik's return to M'sota on Devil's night
- Phoenix - 3 on the road
- Toronto - 4 on the road including Komisarek's return to Montreal on Saturday
- Vancouver
- Washington - 3 at home
3 game weeks:
- Anaheim - Burkie bring the Leafs in to face his old team on Monday
- Boston
- Buffalo
- Carolina
- Chicago - welcome Marty Havlat & the Wild back on Monday
- Columbus - face the top 2 teams in the East vs Pit & @Wsh
- Dallas - easy week as they get 3 lowest scoring teams in the league (Tor, Fla, Nsh)
- Detroit - 3 on the road as they continue their road trip in Western Canada
- Edmonton
- Florida
- Nashville
- NJ
- Ottawa - gets 3 of the weaker teams (@Fla, @TB, Atl)
- Pittsburgh - Hal Gill's return with the Habs on Wednesday
- San Jose
- St.Louis - chance to breakout of slump with three winnable games (@Car, Pho, Fla)
2 game weeks:
- Atlanta - could be Ove vs Kovy on Wed. if Kovy's healthy
- Calgary - a scary treat when Bertuzzi returns with Detroit on Halloween
- LA
- Philadelphia
- Tampa Bay - 2 at home and they have points in all 5 home games so far
