John Tavares suffered a minor concussion last night and left the game in the 1st period... probably nothing to be too worried about as he doesn't have a history of concussion problems but we'll see how he's feeling over the next few days.
Pekka Rinne left last night's game in the 3rd period after getting pile-driven by Troy Bodie and he left with what is likely a knee injury... we don't know much more about this right now, Barry Trotz just said LBI & day-to-day after the game but this could be a serious one so keep your fingers crossed.
Ondrej Pavelec Update: All they're saying right now is that he has a concussion, which was likely due to the fall but as for what caused the collapse, nothing has been disclosed yet.
Alex Kovalev called it a night after suffering a shoulder injury in last night's game... didn't look that serious but with this guy you never know when he might decide he wants to take a season off and pull the chute... so beware.
Brian Rolston left last night's game early with a LBI... we should find out more today.
Patrick Sharp skipped last night's game because of a UBI but it doesn't look like anything serious as he played Thursday and then took the morning skate yesterday.
Derek Morris sat out yesterday's game due to a LBI... he's listed as day-to-day.
Returning to action from the injured list yesterday: Jason Spezza & Kris Russell.
