The biggest and brightest from the past week in Fantasy Land...

Three Stars of the Week:

3rd Star, from the Chicago Blackhawks, numero 81, Marian Hossa... launched the season with points in six straight and 5+4=9, plus-5 & 17 shots.

2nd Star, from the Pittsburgh Penguins, numero 3, Alex Goligoski... also has points in each of his first six (3+3=6) to go along with a plus-4 and 16 shots.

1st Star, from the Los Angeles Kings, numero 32, Jonathan Quick... three wins & only three goals allowed in his first three starts.

Rookie Star of the Week:  John Carlson, Wsh - 1+5=6 with 18 PIMs through his first five games as he logs big minutes with Green & Poti out.

Breakout Star of the Week:  Josh Bailey, NYI - we left Bailey just outside our top 50 breakout candidates in the Breakout Bible this year and he's obviously out to give us the big FU with 3+4=7 & 16 shots through his first five games this year.... well played Bailey, well played.

Breakdown of the Week:  Marc-Andre Fleury, Pit - lots of contenders here as guys like Parise, Gonchar & Gagne are all off to horrible starts but Fleury gets the prize with three losses and 3.41 & .853 averages after three starts.

Free Agent Star of the Week (less than 50% owned in Yahoo!):  Brent Johnson, Pit - directly related to our Breakdown of the Week as BJ has stepped in for the terrible Fleury and put up three wins, 1.32 gaa & .953... worth a look for those that need help in net, especially Fleury owners.
