Daily Distractions - Oct 19th, 2010

Here are a few things to distract you from fantasy week #1... particularly if Martin Brodeur and Marc-Andre Fleury were your two starting goalies.

- This post, "Great moment in uncensored NHL broadcasts" features one of our favourite all time YouTube clips.  Take that Bellows!  [From The Rink]

- Remember the Matt Moulson slam from this episode of 30 Rock?  The National Post talked to Moulson about it:

"I guess if I wasn’t comfortable with it, then they wouldn’t have used it," Moulson said with a smile yesterday. "I thought they were going to say something nice, but I guess I’ll take it for whatever. It was pretty funny." [National Post]

- Take a look at the highest paid NHL player from each of the last 20 years.  Things have changed a lot since 1990.  Mario for $2 million?  I think he would be worth more than that now if he made a comeback.  [The Puck Report]

- Who's Hot and Who's Not... according to NHL.com [NHL.com]

- And, for no apparent reason, here's a terrible music video featuring Mrs. Kovalchuk... according to Hockey Jackass.  Hopefully Ilya's new contract gives her 100 million reasons never to sing again:
