In my on going attemp to put three solid centres together, my search recently as broughtme to Steen. As a leaf fan I've always liked his game before we shipped him out for a bag of pucks. I've watched a couple St. Louis games this year and he has looked dangerous, he's certianly getting the ice time as you pointed out in a recent article, and if I remember correctly he was at about a point a game clip last year after the coaching change. He's not as young as I would like but he certianly has a lot of hockey left in him. My current centers are
Brassard, Anisimov, Couture (your man crush is contangious)
My question is should I cut Anisimov for Steen? Keeping in mind that I'm not really concerned with this year but would like to acquire players that would allow be to be compete next season and onward.
Other players of note on waivers are
Plekanec
Ribeiro
Berglund
Wilson
Filppula
Brumistrov
Bozak
Thanks, your input is always appreciated.
