T.J. Galiardi broke his wrist in last night's game and so he's out indefinitely... this is precisely what the Avs needed. Oh forgot, Kyle Quincey is also out with a concussion.
Steve Downie sat out last night's game with a back injury that's been bothering him for a while... hopefully a little rest will help him out as he's only had two points in his last eight games but the PIMs continue to flow nicely as he has 45 in those same eight games.
This isn't sounding good for Simon Gagne as he has some weird symptoms due to his neck injury and it's affecting his vision. He's never been a quick healer and pardon me for assuming the worst but methinks it could be a while before he comes back.
Patrick Lalime is feeling the pain, literally, and it may have something to do with his appendix. Not really fantasy worthy news there but it does mean that Jhonas Enroth will start again tonight and Ryan Miller will sit on the bench and pray that he's not called upon as he's still not 100% yet.
Not sure what happened to Brendan Morrison last night but he only had two shifts in the 2nd period and one in the 3rd.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Joni Pitkanen, Milan Michalek, Dominic Moore, Dan Hamhuis & Brooks Laich.
