I posted on this yesterday but feel that I should expand on this specific aspect before making any rash moves. I recently took over a garbage dynasty team and have had to gut most of the roster. I have two roster spots reserved for the C position, currently filled by Plekanec and Brumistrov, both of whom were acquired off waivers. Due to the state of my roster I feel it would be best to finish with a high pick and look to field a competative roster as of next fall. With that goal in mind I need to find two C's that will be at or close to a point per game as of next season. I know your not a big fan of Brum, but do you think Plekanec is a guy who can put a few solid years around the point per game pace? or am I better off dropping him and investing in a prospect? Or is that over killing a youth movement considering the guy is only 28? Other options include:
Berglund
Sutter
Couture
Flippula
Bozak
Wilson
Brassard
Anisimov
Again your input is appreciated. I'm considering cutting bait with Plekanec and grabbing the two best prospects. If I get lucky they both pan out, but I really only need one to and I will draft the top C available with my (hopefully) first over all selection. I also have Eberle who for at least this season can be used as a C.
