Picking up Subban - is it worth it?

Hey guys - I'm a first year H2H newbie so I'm still trying to understand the nuances (if any) of the style... If you're willing, I'd like your input on Subban. I'm a H2H league in which I recently dropped Subban and picked up Hamrlik.  My rationale was that I'm mid-pack in the league (4 of 8) but have yet to win in the "G", "A" or "P" categories once this year. I thought I'd try to make a push with a "hotter" D-man as there's not much available re free agent FWDs. I've been pleased with Hamrlik's output but but EVERYWHERE I go, I keep reading that Subban is worth holding out for.  If it were your team, would you guys drop someone to make room for Subban - even if he continues to be "dead weight" for a little longer?

And I guess it gets to a larger question of where you make short-term moves or hold-out in general? Frankly, because I'm new, I'm tempted to just experiment so that I come away from this having learned some good lessons, but I also wouldn't mind just getting some tips from the vets out there. Appreciate the input and I appreciate you bearing with a newbie question...
