The biggest and brightest from the past week in Fantasy Land...

Three Stars of the Week:

3rd Star, from the Toronto Maple Leafs, numero 15, Tomas Kaberle... the top dman of the week with 1+4=5, plus-2 & 11 sogs over four games.

2nd Star, from the Anaheim Ducks, numero 10, Corey Perry... made a late charge with a 5 point game on Sunday night, finishing with 4+3=7, plus-4, 6 PIMs & 16 shots for the week.

1st Star, from the San Jose Sharks, numero 29, Ryane Clowe... a consistent two points in each of his four games last week for 3+5=8, plus-4 & 16 shots.

Rookie Star of the Week:  Anders Lindback, Nsh - 2-0-1 with a 1.66 & .948 in three games last week as he's filled in very nicely for the injured Pekka Rinne.

Breakout Star of the Week:  Anders Lindback, Nsh - can't deny the tender here but he'll need some breaks (literally) to put together a breakout season but Logan Couture (4+1=5) & Erik Karlsson (1+3=4) look like they're well on their way.

Breakdown of the Week:  Washington Capitals - they lost all four last week while being outscored 18-6... take your pick amongst Semyon Varlamov (5.00 gaa & .808 sv%), Mike Green (no points & missed two games with the flu) or Nicklas Backstrom (3A but minus-5)... as all left a lot to be desired. 

Free Agent Star of the Week (less than 50% owned in Yahoo!):  Anders Lindback, Nsh (27% owned) - he should have been snatched up by all Rinne owners a while back and with Rinne out a few more weeks, you'd be well advised to get the rookie in there as he's been very steady.
