Injury Updates - Dec 9th, 2010

For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Kari Lehtonen sat out last night's game due to some lower body tightness... which probably isn't that serious but you have to be a little concerned when you're talking about this guy.

Curtis McElhinney took a puck to the head and was bloodied leaving the game late last night... he'll probably be fine and doesn't play much anyway.

Correction:  I said yesterday that Pascal Leclaire left Tuesday's game due to an injury but friend of the program "O'Club" pointed out in the comments that it was just an equipment issue... my bad.

Milan Lucic said the skate that cut him "took a big chunk out of my wrist"... but he's not going to let it keep him out of the lineup.

Kristian Huselius is back practicing but he's still a few weeks away from returning from his ankle injury

The Devils Anssi Salmela has been cleared to return after recovering from off-season knee surgery but he's likely headed to the AHL on a conditioning stint first.

David Legwand returned last night after missing nine games with a LBI... but then he left the game in the 2nd period for some unknown reason.  If I thought anyone really cared then I'd investigate further, but I can't imagine that's the case.
