Drew Doughty left yesterday after only 2 shifts and a minute and change of TOI.  He was on the wrong end of a Zac Rinaldo hit and has a UBI.  It's apparently not a concussion as Lombardi stated it is not related to his head. He's expected to be out 7-10 days.  More info as we get it.

Evgeni Malkin did not play again last night.  This knee issue is going to be even more annoying if he just missed every second game.  We'd expect he'll be ready to go for the next game but it's really a roll of the dice.

Marian Hossa missed last night's contest with a UBI and is being considered day-to-day.

Sergei Gonchar left yesterday's game after blocking a shot in the first.  David Rundblad owners like this news.  He has a bruised foot... no word on how long he'll be out but it sounds like a day-to-day type deal.

Marc-Andre Fleury returned from his sickness and looks to be fully recovered.

Antti Niemi didn't play last night... it was the third game he missed.  He said he felt good enough to play, so expect him to return for the Shark's next game on Monday night.  Adjust your lineups accordingly.

Update on Sam Gagner... he's expected to be returning sometime in the next week.  Not the best update, but at least it's something.
