Wednesday's Injury Updates - R.Whitney, Pronger, Pacioretty...
Ryan Whitney gave everyone a scare when he left last night's game with a LBI but the word is that it's not his foot and it's a sprained knee. The team is saying that he's just out a few days.
The Flyers say Chris Pronger is progressing well... not sure what that means when he's supposedly just resting, I guess maybe the eye is looking better.
Not good news here... Max Pacioretty may have ligament damage to his wrist but reportedly won't need surgery. Not sure how long he's out for but he's not expected to play for at least a week.
Steve Mason briefly left last night's game with a suspected shoulder injury but returned within a few minutes and went on to his first win of the season... so good news all-round.
Curtis Glencross has been missing some practice lately... well I would say he's been missing it... so he's questionable for tonight's game.
Evgeni Malkin played last night after missing the previous five due to his chronic knee injury. We'll see if he's up for two in a row(!) on Thursday.
Rick DiPietro dressed for the Islanders last night but still no game action... baby steps.
Mike Fisher (shoulder surgery) and Francis Bouillon (concussion) both made their season debut last night. Not that he's fantasy worthy but good to see Bouillon return after being out since January due to post-concussion syndrome.

Fisher and Boullion should make a pretty big diffrence for the preds.
And poor Ryan Whitney he is a great defensman and a huge part of the oilers. He seems to get injured all the time.
Agreed… Fisher play a lot and with Smith & Kostitsyn on the top line.
Bouillon’s return means they can play Jack Hillen less… major plus!
