Today's list....Shooting Percentage - Over & Under Performers
Shooting Percentages do not normally fluctuate a great deal from year to year, so by taking a look at the guys who are well above or below their recent trends (last three years) we might be able to see a breakout or breakdown coming.
The table below shows you the seven players who were the ‘luckiest' and the 10 players who were the ‘unluckiest'

Can't believe people are so high on S. Kostitsyn this year
Even his “last 3 year average” of 16.8% is insanely high and likely to regress. Between the 08-09 and 09-10 season his sh% was a much more reasonable 11.4%. Had he have shot at that level in Nashville instead of the ridiculously lucky pace he had last year he’d have scored 10 goals – and then nobody would be talking about drafting him this year. With few PPP, PIM and no Hits/Blocks he’s a 2 (maybe 3) stat player who’s likely to regress.
Its tough being a Vikings fan.
Completely agree. Unless he starts shooting more I have trouble seeing him break 50.

MAB
Picked him up to replace Markov on my IR and he had a PPA. If he plays on the PP, he’s worth owning, but will there be instances where they don’t even bother to dress him?

We’ve (mostly Cam) have been big fans of him in the past but I think he’s getting off of the fantasy radar now.
He’s got the potential, but based on how the Bolts used him last year I can’t see him contributing too much.
Decent bench player in deep league but I wouldn’t want to be starting him all the time.

I’d be hesitant on MAB. Yes hes a power play specialist, but after looking at last nights stats he isn’t getting much PP time. Looks like the Top PP unit was St. Louis/Stamkos/Malone/Lecav/Brewer. Bergeron only played 1min 45s on the powerplay (Brewer had over twice the amount). The good news is he did play as a defenceman instead of a 4th line forward/7th D and had over 16 minutes played (his average last year was around 14). Even with more time on regular strength I can’t see him being very valuable as a 2nd unit PP player.
Its tough being a Vikings fan.
