Saturday's Injury Updates - M.Green, Goligoski, Dekanich...
Mike Green returned after missing six games with an ankle injury but had to leave last night's game early after taking a knee-on-knee hit... for Christ sakes! The team says it's not serious, just day-to-day.
Alex Goligoski left last night's game with a hand injury that the team indicated could be serious. He'll be re-evaluated today.
So Mark Dekanich was all prepared to get some AHL action last night after rehabbing his ankle injury but he didn't even make it through the warm-up before leaving with a groin injury. Hopefully it's not serious... but seriously???
Bad news here as Guillaume Latendresse is out indefinitely with a concussion... dammit.
Cam Barker is now out day-to-day with an ankle injury.
Brenden Morrow has a bum elbow but he's playing through it.
Ilya Kovalchuk's leg injury is said to be "lingering", so he missed last night's game and is expected to miss tonight's as well.
Andrew Ference is out for tonight's game and listed as day-to-day with a LBI.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Alexandre Burrows, Daniel Alfredsson, Jussi Jokinen, Mikael Backlund & Matt Niskanen.

Visnovsky broke a finger last night.
Out 4 weeks. Can’t say I’ll notice the loss, and maybe by the time he comes back the Duck’s will have figured out how to score again.
agreed…. if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s sucked then this would really hurt.

Sounds like the Jackets are finally going to go shopping for a goalie.
The Year of the Dex might be over before it ever starts.
