Sunday's Injury Updates - Visnovsky, Goligoski, Harding...

At least Visnovsky's plus/minus won't get worse for the next month

For some reason I have a feeling that people are going to be searching the waiver wire looking for dmen...

Lubomir Visnovsky is expected to be out for four weeks due to a broken finger... man, this season is not going well for me so far.  Kurtis Foster is expected to take his spot in the lineup and should see some decent PP time as well.

Alex Goligoski has a broken thumb and is expected to miss around four weeks.  This will likely lead to more PP time for Sheldon Souray.

Mike Green missed last night's game with a likely knee injury.  The Caps haven't given many details on the injury or the extent.

Joni Pitkanen is day-to-day with a LBI that kept him out of last night's game... this guy is the king of the day-to-day injuries as he typically misses games here & there for various reasons.

Ian White took a puck to the face last night and had to leave the game... not sure on the extent.

Marco Scandella suffered a head injury last night... he also missed time with a similar injury last year so this ain't good.

Josh Harding took a shot off the elbow last night but stayed in the game until he gave up four goals and then he was pulled... not sure how much the injury had to do with his performance.

Ryan Miller took a charge from Milan Lucic but stayed in the game.  After giving up three quick goals in the 2nd period he then exited and sat out the 3rd with a UBI.  It doesn't seem serious but dude is seriously struggling.

Mark Dekanich is week-to-week with a groin injury suffered in the warm-up before what was supposed to be his first start in the AHL on Friday... unbelievable.

Dustin Penner is day-to-day with a hand injury... likely a case of stone hands.

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  Jeff Carter, Jordan Staal, Mike Cammalleri, Scott Gomez & Rich Peverley.
