Saturday's Injury Updates - Nabokov, Reimer, Perron...

Stay connected for news and updates

The Islanders team of Doctors looks on as Nabby limps off

Reports say that Evgeni Nabokov could miss up to a month with the groin injury he suffered on Thursday night... good news for Rick DiPietro & Al Montoya owners as long as they can stay healthy and not suck.

James Reimer did some on-ice workouts yesterday and since the team likely has no clue when he'll return they just said that he's out for at least the next 7-10 days.

David Perron (concussion) has been cleared for contact in practice... so he's making progress in his year-long recovery but who knows when/if he'll be able to return.

Michael Frolik missed last night's game and is day-to-day with a shoulder injury... doesn't seem too bad.

Carlo Colaiacovo is out for tonight's game, maybe longer, with a groin injury.

Matthew Lombardi is out for three weeks due to an arm/shoulder injury.

Tyler Ennis (ankle) was in a non-contact jersey in practice yesterday and Lindy Ruff continues to innovate as he described his status as "every-other-day"... love it.
