T.J. Oshie took a rough ride into the boards courtesy of Drew Doughty last night and seemed to be favouring his shoulder as he left the ice but the team said after the game that he was OK. Let's hope so as this guy doesn't have a lot of luck with injuries.
Nothing is cut & dry with James Reimer's head injury... his don't-call-it-a-concussion but it smells like a concussion injury is getting better and Reimer says that his symptoms are "almost gone". Then Captain Vagueness Ron Wilson stepped in to say that he should be back in a "short time" and not a "long time". Later he defined a "short time" as a few months. I made up that last part.
Mason Raymond (back) is expected to return sometime this week after being out for five months with that scary back injury he suffered in the SC final.
Steve Downie left last night's game early and is listed as day-to-day with a UBI.
Marc Staal (concussion) is travelling with the team, not sure what that means in terms of his recovery but it's good news for his air miles.
Steve Mason will see a doctor today regarding his head injury, so we should know more shortly but he's likely out indefinitely.
Brent Seabrook (LBI) was at practice yesterday and might be able to return tonight.
Chris Pronger (ill) is out again tonight.
Tyler Ennis (ankle) is still not ready yet as he was given yesterday off after complaining of soreness.
Ian White (cheekbone) will return tonight.
Jochen Hecht (concussion) has recovered and could return tonight.
Andrei Markov (knee) has been cleared for contact in practice. He's likely still a week away from making his season debut.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Clarke MacArthur.
