Thursday's Injury Updates - Jagr, Fleischmann, Kulikov...

Uh-oh... Jaromir Jagr returned after missing two games due to a groin injury and re-aggravated said groin injury before leaving in the 2nd period.  He won't play in the next two games and it could be longer.  This is troublesome.

Tomas Fleischmann took an elbow to the head and while he was able to finish the game, he reportedly had a headache after the game.  He'll be re-evaluated today.

Dmitry Kulikov missed last night's game with a "minor" LBI.  Let's call him day-to-day.

Bobby Ryan left last night's game early with a hip contusion... I may have some contusion confusion but I don't think these things are that serious.

Ilya Kovalchuk was banged up on Monday but x-rays on his leg came back fine and he played 23 minutes last night... so nothing to worry about except for the fact that he blows right now.

Travis Zajac (achilles) is about two weeks away from joining the team for practice... so good news there.

Roberto Luongo says he is 100% after fighting off a UBI... he dressed as the backup last night and will probably get a start soon.

Brenden Morrow is day-to-day with a UBI.  He missed last night's game but could return on Friday.

Niklas Backstrom was not available last night as he was dealing with a non-serious personal issue.

Erik Johnson missed last night's game with an undisclosed injury.

Scott Gomez was looking for his first goal last night and found a LBI instead.

Brad Boyes left last night's game with an ankle injury.

Jochen Hecht made his season debut last night after recovering from a concussion.  Didn't realize this dude is 34-year-old already!  Hard to keep track of the years when he hasn't done anything noteworthy since... forever.

Returning to action from the injury list last night:  Ian White, Braydon Coburn, Ron Hainsey, Brendan Morrison, Marco Scandella & Michael Frolik.
