Sunday's Daily Dosage - Kassian, Henrique, Cole...
Sorry, a little late this morning with this, was partaking in some festivities last night...
Zack Kassian was up on a line with Roy & Gerbe last night and had a goal (his first NHL goal), two PIMs, three shots & five hits in just 11 minutes of ice-time. He likely won't be in Buffalo long this season but he should be active while he's there.
Two more points for Adam Henrique yesterday to give him 5+8=13 in 13 November games. 10 of those 13 points have been at ES, so if he can start producing on the PP then look out. It will be interesting to see what happens when Zajac is ready to return.
Chris Kelly with two goals last night and he's in fine form with 6+3=9 & plus-9 over his last eight games. His liney, Rich Peverley has 1+6=7 over his last eight as well... so some great production from the Bruins 3rd line lately.
Mathieu Garon started both ends of a H&H with FLA and won both by stopping 47 of 49 shots. He's been up and down this year and right now things are pointing upwards.
Steven Stamkos with a three point night and kinda quietly he has 8+6=14 over his last 10 games.
Evander Kane with a goal on nine shots yesterday and he now has 5+2=7 & 29 shots over his last six games.
John Tavares has gone five games without a point and 10 without a goal. He's supposed to have a huge breakout this year but maybe being surrounded with a crappy team is getting to him.
Cory Schneider with his fourth straight win last night as he stopped 43 of 45 to beat the Sharks. Luongo is healthy but how can the Canucks take Schneider out when he's in this kind of form? Having said that, I still think Luongo makes an excellent buy-low target.
Crosby's return has lit a match under Evgeni Malkin as he has a streak of four straight 2-pointers for 3+5=8 & 18 shots over the past four games.
Valtteri Filppula with 2+1=3 & plus-2 yesterday... he's been shooting to score lately with four goals & nine shots over his last three games and 5+7=12 & plus-5 over his last 11. He's shooting more this season but it's still not enough for my taste (on pace for 145 shots) so even though it looks like he could finally crack 50 points this year, I'm not really in love with him.
The Rangers Carl Hagelin with his first NHL goal yesterday in just 10:55 of ice-time and he has points in each of his first two NHL games.
It's been a slow start for Brad Richards but after a goal yesterday he now has 4+2=6 & plus-4 over his last six games.
Anton Stralman played 10 minutes in his first game on Wednesday and now has been a healthy scratch for the past two games.
Stefan Elliott was called up by the Avs and scored in his first NHL game yesterday. He played 19 minutes with 2:51 on the PP. He's started well in the AHL this year with 2+7=9 & plus-5 in 18 games but he'll need Erik Johnson or another blueliner to be out a while for him to see a much action with the big club.
The Sabres have a pretty banged up blueline and so Brayden McNabb was called up yesterday and in the lineup last night. He has 1+9=10, plus-5 & 16 PIMs in 19 AHL games so far this year. I really like this kid, lots of potential to put up points and play a physical game but not sure how he fits into the Sabres plans.

Cam sounds like you’ve been having lots of late nights. Do we need too set up an intervention?
