Three Stars of the Week:

3rd Star, from the Pittsburgh Penguins, numero 71, Evgeni Malkin... 3+5=8, 3 PPP, a +2, and 18 SOGs. He might be the happiest guy in the world that Sid the kid is back. We know his owners are. If Geno keeps this up, he's a prime candidate for a come-from-behind Art Ross win. FHS Votes: 1 second, 2 thirds.

2nd Star, from the Vancouver Canucks, numero 35, Cory Schneider... 3GP, 2ShO, 0.67 GAA and .978 SV%. Silly. How do you start Luongo after this week? But as much as the Canucks might want to ride the Schneid, they have 5,333,333 reasons not to...for about the next ten years. FHS Votes: 4 seconds.

1st Star, from the Pittsburgh Penguins, numero 87, Sidney Crosby... 2+7=9, a +7, 8 PIM, and 15 SOG in four games. He also won 53 face-offs, all while probably feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. Or maybe he felt a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. Either way, he reminded everyone why he's the best player in the world. FHS Votes: 5 firsts. A clean sweep.

Honorable mention: Brian Elliott (3 GS, 3 wins, 1 SO, .98 GAA, .963 SV%), Jonathan Toews (3+3=6 in 3 games, 5 points vs. Anaheim)

HM: Adam Larsson (4 GP, 1+3=4)

Breakout Star of the Week: Jordan Eberle, EDM. 2+4=6 and he's on pace for a huge 82 points (23 points in 23 games).

HM: Ian White (3 GP, 1+3=4, +3, on pace for 47 points, +47 and 199 SOG), Sidney Crosby (yeah, that guy).

Breakdown of the Week: Brian Gionta. Zero points and -9 for the week get Gionta the honour. As Jay stated accurately, you would have been better off starting Alexei Yashin.

DHM: Ilya Bryzgalov (2 GP, 5.38 GAA, .825 SV%, John Tavares (4 GP, zero points, -2), Jonas Hiller (3 GP, 3 disasters, 4.82 GAA, .854 SV%)

Free Agent Star of the Week (less than 50% owned in Yahoo! leagues): Curtis Sanford (18% owned) This is what was supposed to happen to our boy Mark Dekanich. Can't see this current streak (three goals allowed in his last three games) continuing for much longer but definitely worth a shot if you're desperate for goalie help.

HM: Valtteri Filppula (32% owned, 4+1=5 in just 3 games), Tykler Bozak (15% owned, also 4+1=5 in 3 games)
