Tuesday's Injury Updates - Pronger, Lehtonen, Hall...
Chris Pronger will require surgery to fix that nasty knee virus and will be out for the next four weeks. No word if it was contagious and an outbreak of MCL sprains is a risk for the Flyers.
Relatively good news on the Kari Lehtonen injury front as missing three weeks is better than three months. But there was the whole issue with the "at least three weeks" description, so it sounds like it could drag on.
Taylor Hall's shoulder injury won't require surgery but is expected to keep him out for 2-4 weeks.
Kris Letang (broken nose) is questionable for tonight's game. Btw, Max Pacioretty is suspended for a trio of games for busting Letang's beak.
Scott Clemmensen (LBI) is well enough to dress as the backup and could see some game action this week.
Ryan Miller has the reverse-Reimer as they claimed it was a concussion right away but now he says he doesn't have concussion-like symptoms and it was more of a neck problem all along. He's been skating and is hoping to return to practice on Wednesday.
Andrei Markov (knee) has been practicing with the team and while no return date has been set, he's getting close.
Alexander Edler (shoulder) was able to practice yesterday and should be able to go tonight.
Reports say that Scott Parse (hip) is done for the season...wait, did this guy's season even start?

halls replacement?
Is pajaarvi suppose to take his place? Think he’s worth picking up for kassian?

Paajarvi played with Horcoff & Hemsky last night and didn’t do much… dude can’t shake the funk he’s in. I’d probably go with Kassian for the short-term.

I like Marchand & MPS… more upside (and downside risk as well)

The kid is just 20-years-old and this could very well just be a sophomore slump… unwise to give up on him too easily.

Agreed if I could stash him on a deep bench in a keeper league I would.
Only problem is in most league’s his current production is so brutal you can’t use a bench spot on him since he likely doesn’t count as a prospect.
