Friday's Injury Updates - Enstrom, Jokinen, Kovalchuk...
Bad news for the Jets... Tobias Enstrom has a busted wing. A broken collarbone is expected to keep him on the shelf for a month. Now is the time for Zach Bogosian to shine.
Good news for Jussi Jokinen fans as tests revealed that his leg injury isn't as bad as originally feared and he's now considered day-to-day.
Scott Clemmensen has recovered from his preseason knee surgery but will head to the AHL on a conditioning stint while the Panthers figure out what they're going to do with Jacob Markstrom.
Ilya Kovalchuk pulled a hammy (or some leg muscle) late in the game and didn't play in the OT. He'll be re-evaluated today.
Martin Hanzal sat out last night's game due to a LBI... this guy has been known to miss a few games here & there, so hopefully this doesn't mushroom into anything major.
Wojtek Wolski left last night's game due to a groin injury.
Nik Antropov left the game after taking a shot off the hand but he's a tough guy so he returned in the 3rd period.
Officially James van Riemsdyk was out with a LBI last night but the unofficial word is that he was a healthy scratch... that hurts even more.
Nick Bonino is day-to-day with a knee injury.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Mike Fisher, Sergei Kostitsyn, Danny Briere, Simon Gagne & Sean Bergenheim.

Really hurts the jets too lose Enstrom.
He is one of there best defensman if not there best.
Also Markstrome has played great. I knew this guy would be good and now he seems to be hitting his stride i really hope that he stays but if he does they cant sit him. SO who would go down Jose? clemensen?
It has to be either Clemmense or Markstrom going to the AHL… we’ll see.

Yea i agree.
Really think Markstrom deserves too stay up,
Im not sure though they might want Clemmensen for a bit, if thats happens then Markstrom could start in they AHL.
