Ilya Kovalchuk couldn't make it through the entire morning skate yesterday and so he was scratched last night due to his LBI.  It doesn't seem serious though so he should be able to return sometime this coming week.

Nik Antropov was a game-time decision last night due to his hand injury and the team decided to sit him out.  He'll likely be back shortly.

Sergei Kostitsyn returned on Thursday from his LBI but then was out again last night.  Not sure if he had a setback or if it's just lingering a little.

Todd Bertuzzi was out last night due to the flu... I'm kinda sick of his performance this year anyway, so that fine by me.

Matt Niskanen missed last night's game with a LBI... he's day-to-day.

Carolina prospect and FHS favourite Ryan Murphy suffered a concussion after taking a huge hit on Friday night in OHL action.  Just an FYI if you don't see him for a while... hopefully he'll be fine by the time the WJCs come around.
