Sunday's Injury Updates - Chara, Giroux, Bryzgalov...
Some scary injury news from last night...
Zdeno Chara left last night's game early due to a LBI... no word on the severity but reports say that he was walking normally after the game so hopefully the big guy can shake it off.
Claude Giroux took a Wayne Simmonds knee to the back of the head and may have suffered a concussion. He'll be monitored over the next few days to see what comes of this but don't expect much info from the Flyers.
Ilya Bryzgalov also left the game for the Flyers with a LBI, not sure on the extent there either.
Cody Hodgson left last night's game after taking a hit from Foligno but everyone was quick to point out that he felt fine and he was held out as a precaution.
Kari Lehtonen (groin) was back skating yesterday but it's been two weeks since he was injured and the word is that he's out at least another two weeks.
Jordan Staal missed last night's game and is day-to-day with a LBI.
Jochen Hecht is also day-to-day with a LBI.
Brian Gionta missed yesterday's game with an arm injury and we don't have details on how serious it is.
Chris Campoli (hamstring) is recovered and ready to return whenever the Habs need him.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Niklas Backstrom, Nik Antropov, Chris Higgins & Peter Regin.

I have Chara, Giroux, Lehtonen and Jordan Staal all in one league. This is not a good day for my team.
This is not a good day for my team
That could be the understatement of the season.

The Bryz
It was originally reported on HNIC that he left the game with “shakes”. Not sure what to make of that – muscle spasms maybe, or the way it sounded perhaps he’s having issues with the Flyers “dry island”.
It's not that I don't like people, I'm just happier when they're not around - Hank Chinaski
well played sir.
