Tuesday's Injury Updates - Crosby, Giroux, St.Louis...

Sidney Crosby (concussion) is out indefinitely again as his headaches have returned... not sure what to say about that but this is some scary stuff.

Claude Giroux (concussion) was evaluated yesterday and while the Flyers weren't saying much they did announce that he won't play on Tuesday, so we're left with no choice but to expect the worst.

Martin St. Louis is recovering from his facial injuries but still has issues with his vision so he's not expected back until after Christmas.

Brian Gionta (LBI) is out indefinitely, at least a week.

Taylor Hall (shoulder) is back at practice and is eyeing a return on Thursday.

Mike Green (groin) hasn't been skating the past few days and went to see a specialist yesterday. You typically don't go to see the specialist if your recovery is progressing, so bad news here.

Tobias Enstrom (collarbone) has been cleared to participate in contact drills so while it's expected that he's still a few weeks away, it seems like he could return soon.

The Avs expect Paul Stastny (torso) to be back in the lineup tonight.

Antero Niittymaki, who has been out all season due to hip surgery, was activated off IR and sent to the AHL for conditioning.

I have Crosby, Giroux and Hall in my 1-year league, so not really sure what to think about today’s news… Most likely I’m not happy.

Hang in there J-P.
Hall may be back as soon as day after tomorrow.
Giroux is out and no one really knows how long, but i’m guessing (and it is just that—a WAG) that he’s out only 5-10 games. Not good, but it would mean he’d back for the lion’s of what’s left in the season.
Crosby…idk. That one is tough.

Any word on what’s going on with Jay Harrison in CAR? He’s been “day to day” for quite a while now and was playing pretty well before that.

not practicing, so I’m assuming he’s not progressing very much.
