Friday's Injury Updates - Pronger, D. Sedin, Zajac
The Flyers announced that Chris Pronger is now officially out for the season as he's suffering from "severe post-concussion symptoms".
Daniel Sedin sat out last night with a back injury and he's listed as day-to-day. His owners better hope he does not miss any significant time.
Travis Zajac will make his season debut tonight. He was practicing on the 3rd line so he won't be reunited with Parise immediately. Hopefully he will play on the same PP line with Parise and give a boost there.
Jordan Staal was a game time decision on Tuesday night, but he did play (no points, minus-2). He's a game time decision for tonight's game again.
The latest concussion victim is Brian Rolston. No news on the severity.
Mikko Koivu has a leg injury but there are no reports on his status currently. We'll update you when we find out more.
Tobias Enstrom is supposedly good to go and will play tomorrow night.
Nik Antropov was supposed to return last night from his foot injury but he did not. We're not sure why yet.
Alex Burmistrov sat out last night with an unknown injury.
Raphael Diaz wasn't feeling well and didn't play last night.
Brian Boucher will be out for another 2 months which probably means Cam Ward will start about 30 straight games in that span.
Returning to action last night: Rene Bourque, Taylor Hall, Eric Fehr, Matt D'Agostini, Corey Potter, Samuel Pahlsson

Enstrom vs Timonen?
I started the season with Enstrom but had to drop him as my IR filled up.
Right now I have Chara, Boyle, Enstrom and Bergeron.
Should I switch anything up? I really don’t want to grab a 5th D, just trying to get the be best of what’s available.
I like your defense. Who is on the wire?

Yeah, I just got Boyle off the wire from someone who was frustrated with him (they grabbed Karberle).
Now on the top of the wire is: Enstrom, Seabrook, Del Zotto, Niskanen, Bogosian, Tyutin and Spurgeon.
Thought you wrote that you had Enstrom already? Del Zotto is the best of the rest.

pretty close but I think I’d rather have Enstrom.

Josh Harding has already been removed from I.R.
Just a 1 day stint (I know it was retroactive officially) they like to jerk guys around in Minnesota though.
I think the first 2 or 3 times they recalled Wellman he didn’t even have time to unpack before they sent him back and recalled again like a day later I don’t think he played till his 4th recall and promptly scored a goal.
