Monday's Daily Dosage - Tyutin, Hossa, Emery...

Do you know who this is? A lot of owners don't.

Marian Hossa is quietly having a heck of a season. After 1+1=2 last night and 10 over his last five games he's now on pace for a whopping 90 points. He hasn't even topped 80 points since he was a Thrasher.

Fedor Tyutin is available in a lot of leagues (owned in just 11% of Y! leagues) but he probably shouldn't be. Three assists last night put him on pace for a 38 point / 64 PIM season. Not too shabby for a waiver wire add.

David Perron had two assists last night and that's seven points in seven games since he returned from injury. He'll likely slow down but a 60 point pace the rest of the way is possible if he stays healthy.

Steve Mason is back to his old tricks. After four games of not allowing more than three he allowed five last night against the Blues... including three in the third to give up the lead lead.

Olli Jokinen, welcome back to fantasy relevance, buddy. He had 1+1=2 last night and is now on pace for a pretty tidy 66 points, 64 PIMs and 252 shots.

Patrick Sharp picked up an assist to keep his point streak alive... nine games now.

Jaroslav Halak picked up a tough 2-1 shootout loss to the Predators Saturday night but Ken Hitchcock stuck him right back in there last night. Not sure what 'The Cock' is thinking here as he has the hottest goalie in the league in Brian Elliott on his squad. The move almost backfired as Halak gave up four goals on 32 shots but the offense bailed him out. It was only the second time since November 1st a St. Louis tender has given up four or more in a game. This is a good reminder that the STL goalie situation is still in flux.

Ray Emery with another start and another win. That's now five games in a row and five wins. You should be pretty confident rolling Emery out as your starter right now... just remember he isn't the model of consistency so enjoy it while you can.

Jeremy Morin played in his first game since his recall from the AHL and according to FH911.com he played on the first line with Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. Nice. He was held pointless in the first game but if that line combo sticks... Morin could have some value in deep leagues. More likely he'll be back down in Rockford in a few days. He had 15 points in 23 AHL games before his recall and has some offensive upside.

Jamie McBain is starting to play like he did last year. He has seven points in seven games after an assist last night. Great fourth d-man for your squad if you can handle his minus.

Kris Versteeg is keepin' the dream alive. He scored his 16th goal last night and it was the game winner in OT. He has 16 goals now... he had 20 all of last year. Mental!
