Concerning news here as Mike Richards left last night's game after a hit to the head... he'll be re-evaluated today but we could be talking concussion here.

This Chris Pronger story just keeps getting better... so apparently the "virus" he's suffering from might be actually be a concussion as he's had headaches & nausea lately. He's going to be out for a month after the virus spread to his knee and will require surgery... so might as well kill three birds with one stone and clear up all his problems.

Kris Versteeg sat out last night's game with a likely broken nose suffered on Tuesday... keep an eye on this to see if it mushrooms into a more serious head injury.

Nik Antropov has been playing banged-up but it was too much for him to lace them up last night... so he's considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.

Sergei Kostitsyn couldn't play last night due to a UBI but the team said that he could return Saturday.

Reports say that Alex Goligoski could return next week from his broken thumb.

Mason Raymond's (back) return was again put off as he was held out and will have to wait until Sunday for another chance.

Props to Nikita Filatov as he played last night after taking that skate to the face the other night... dude is showing some stones.

Dmitry Kulikov returned last night so that gash on his leg didn't slow him down.
