Tuesday's Daily Dosage - Giguere, Ribeiro, Hansen...
Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 31 of 33 to beat the Flyers last night. Did you know that he's given up two or fewer goals in eight of his 12 games and has yet to give up more than three goals in a game this season? Well, I do now and I like that kind of steadiness.
Mike Ribeiro with a nice Xmas present to his owners with 1+1=2 & 10 PIMs last night, he has points in seven of his last eight (2+7=9).
Jannik Hansen with a goal on five shots last night so grab yourself a Danish as he has 6+2=8 over his last nine.
Roberto Luongo with the 33 save shutout of the Wild last night and any of you who listened to us when we were begging you to buy low are riding high as he is 6-0-1, 1.38 & .949 over his last seven games.
Jack Johnson has no points and a minus-8 over his last five games... that's not good.
Lubomir Visnovsky with two points last night in his fourth game back after that finger injury... the digit seems fine as he's put 17 pucks on net in the past four.
Corey Perry with an assist and a dozen PIMs last night. He started the year with just seven points in his first 11 games but is back to a healthier pace with 10+12=22 over his last 22... but plug your nose as he's also a minus-11 during that stretch.
A pair of points last night and that extends Teemu Selanne's point streak to nine games where he has 3+10=13... not bad for a geezer.
This speaks volumes... after allowing six goals in his last game, Dallas went back with Richard Bachman last night, over Raycroft, and he held up by allowing three on 28 shots to beat the Ducks.
Danny Cleary kept his hot streak going with a goal last night to give him 3+4=7 & plus-8 over his last five games... you're not likely to get too many of these from him so make it count.
Jordan Eberle with a PPG last night and he has points in nine of his last 10 games (6+5=11). So while a lot of the hype goes to RNH & Hall, this guy is proving to be the best young fantasy option on the Oilers.
It was a good day to get called up from the AHL as Jonathon Blum, Paul Byron, Jordan Caron, Tim Erixon, Marcus Foligno, Steven Kampfer & Blake Geoffrion were all summoned to the show.

Benn Ferriero
Has also been recalled, will likely play in Havlat’s absence I thought it might be a nice pickup given Marty’s fragility.
I also snagged Jeremy Morin, but will need to drop one of them after the Christmas break for a D-man.
I need a physical forward, hits and PIM, Morin is likely the better option but do either have a realistic shot at remaining with the big club right now.
I thought about Marcus Foligno, and Geoffrion
Foligno is likely the more physical yet furthest from ready and not likely to stick around very long.
But then the Buffalo roster is decimated and could soon be rolling out the entire Rochester team.
welcome any thoughts?

I assume this is your deep league you’ve been telling us about?
If so, I think those are two (Benn and Morin) great upside picks. Neither will probably work out but you gotta take risks in a league that deep.

after Ottawa picked up Turris, Peter Regin didn’t make much sense to hold on to as a 3rd liner and hits are going to help more. Watching Morin skate with Toews and Kane right now, would be sweet if he stayed there.
Any clue as to when Carcillo might return, and would they really miss him.
