Saturday's Daily Dosage - Marchand, Giguere, Del Zotto...
Holy night for Brad Marchand with 3+2=5, plus-5, SHG, GWG & three shots. He was slow out of the gates with 2+2=4 & plus-1 in his first 10 games this year but is studding it up lately with 13+12=25 & plus-24(!) over his last 23 games... PLUS-TWENTY-FOUR!!!
Four straight wins for Jean-Sebastien Giguere as he was 29/30 vs Tampa last night. He has yet to give up more than three goals in a game this season and has kept it to two or less in 10 of 14 appearances.
Michael Del Zotto with a deuce of assists last night and 2+8=10 & plus-13 over his last 10 games... I'd say someone is enjoying having the HBO cameras around.
Injuries have forced Anton Stralman into a top-4 role with the Rangers and he has three assists over his last two games while playing a season high 24 minutes last night.
New Kings coach Darryl Sutter went with Jonathan Quick on back-to-back nights and he was very good (34/35 last night) but still took the SOL. This is bad news for Jonathan Bernier owners as Sutter has never really grasped the concept using two goalies.
Tuomo Ruutu with a goal on five shots last night and he's in the holiday spirit with 3+2=5, plus-4 & 18 shots during a four game point streak.
18 minutes last night for Kyle Turris and he has an assist in three straight with his new team.
Surely to appease his fantasy owners who were calling for him to round out his game, Ray Whitney picked up a 10 minute misconduct last night... Merry Christmas.
Nazem Kadri played a season high 15 minutes last night and now has goals in back-to-back games after potting one on the PP.
The Flames Leland Irving earned his first NHL win by stopping 29 of 30 against the Canucks. So those of you that have been waiting for the 5+ years for the 1st rounder to start producing can tell everyone to sit on it as he has arrived... but I wouldn't expect him to see much action this year.
Curtis Glencross might actually want to skip the holidays this year as he's on a tear right now with 5+3=8 & plus-4 during a five game streak. Let's hope he gets consistency in his stocking this year.
Jason Chimera had really cooled off with no points in his last six coming into last night but he found the net twice for his 12th & 13th goals of the year and is back on a 30 goal pace.
Tuukka Rask with a 30 save shutout and he hasn't been scored on in over 140 minutes. He improved his numbers to 1.66 (2nd in the league) & .944 (tops in the league). If Thomas slips up or gets injured then Rask could turn himself into the top goalie in the league.

Marchand, Rask, and the B's
Those B’s are DEEEEP! They can roll out four lines on you right now that can put up points.
Fun times in Beantown right now.
On another note, do you happen to know what kind of PP time Kadri is getting or what line he’s playing on? Can he stick this time around?
Merry Christmas and Hockey New Year!
YAZ...Still Reigning Triple Crown King
you said it…. da B’s are wicked deeeeeep!
Kadri was getting a little PP time, not a lot, but scored on the PP last night. At evens he was playing with Connolly & MacArthur, so not bad linemates. He could stick this time around and carve out a spot in the lineup but I’m skeptical given that Wilson doesn’t seem to be a fan.

I’m up against Marchand in my two biggest leagues this week.
Spirit of giving indeed… like giving my team an ass kicking.
