Sunday's Daily Dosage - Moulson, E.Kane, Whitney...

This picture gets a big YIKES (all caps)... you pick the reason

The golden sombrero for Matt Moulson last night as he scored four times (take note that it was against Raycroft... #context). He has goals in four straight games so while I'll tell you to ride his hot streak, he's surely been scooped up last night or this morning in most leagues.

Evander Kane with another monster performance with 2G, plus-3 & five shots last night... he has 9+3=12, plus-9 & 45 shots over his last nine games... beautiful.

Ray Whitney with a goal last night to give him 3+4=7 over his last seven games. Dude may be old and he's always underrated but he's top 35 in the league in scoring right now, so don't forget about him.

Tyler Ennis with his first goal of the season last night. He's playing with Roy & Stafford and it's just a matter of time before this kid gets it together... he's surely sitting on some waiver wires right now, so give him a look.

Jamie Benn has just 1+3=4 over his last 10 games but what do the need him for when Eric Nystrom scores again (his 10th) and has 5+2=7 over his last seven games. Ok, it's time for me to shut-up about how this guy has never scored more than 15 goals in a professional season cause I just can't fight the ferocity of his current hot streak.

It's been a crappy season for Patrik Berglund but after an assist last night he now has 1+2=3 during a three game point streak.

Zach Bogosian hasn't taken advantage of Enstrom's absence quite like I had hoped but he now has 5A & plus-6 over his last six games.

Ilya Kovalchuk has points in four straight (2+3=5)... but he's also a minus-7 over that stretch. Zach Parise is 1+4=5 during a four game streak and Adam Henrique is 2+4=6 during a five gamer.

Chris Kelly with another goal last night to give him 7+3=10 in his last 10 games and an even 10 goals on the season.

Jamie McBain returned after a pair of scratchings and scored twice last night to show new coach Kirk Muller what he has to offer. This guy has a lot of upside, so I think he makes a nice long-term buy low candidate.

Louis Leblanc with his first NHL point in his third game. He played just 11 minutes and so we'll see if he sticks around when Pacioretty returns from suspension next game.

Five assists in the past two games really pretties up the numbers for John Tavares but it doesn't mask the fact that he hasn't scored in his last 13 games.

Nikolai Khabibulin gave up four goals and took the loss last night... he's now 2-6-1, 3.12 & .902 over his last nine games.

Flames dman Derek Smith with 1+1=2 last night, he's picking up some PP2 time with Giordano & Babchuk out.

Mikael Backlund with his first goal of the season last night... only took him 11 games... what a stiff.

3A for Jarome Iginla last night and maybe that will wake him up... this was just his third multi-point game of the season. He now has 2+4=6 & plus-5 over his last six games.

F'ing Rene Bourque was pretty active last night with 1+1=2, plus-2, two PIMs, two hits & four shots. Dude is killing me in a few leagues this year so I'll accept his little peace offering.

Tomas Fleischmann with three points and nine shots last night to continue his magical season. The Panthers top line with with Flash, Weiss & Versteeg has some crazy chemistry for a line that was just thrown together and none of them was ever really a star before. Stephen Weiss also had three points last night and that's his fourth 3-pointer in his last 10 games (4+10=14).

Fun Fact: Versteeg, Fleischmann & Weiss have combined for 81 points, the rest of the Panthers forwards have combined for 46 (Kopecky is best of the rest with 12).

Heading back down to the AHL was Ben Scrivens, passing him by on the way up are Matt Hackett, Nate Prosser, Steven Kampfer & Jordan Caron.
