Tuesday's Injury Updates - Letang, Markov, Del Zotto...

Stay connected for news and updates

Each of Sidney Crosby (knee), Evgeni Malkin (face) & Alex Ovechkin (face) were shaken up last night but they all soldiered on and, as far as we know, they shouldn't miss any game action because of this.

The Penguins are calling Kris Letang's injury a concussion and they've put him on the IR. So he's out indefinitely but let's hope it doesn't turn into months.

Things just keep getting worse for Andrei Markov daily... his latest knee surgery is expected to keep him sidelined for 4-6 weeks, not the three weeks that was originally reported.

Michael Del Zotto was mashed into the boards last night but stayed in the game and it seems like nothing is broken.

The gash on Valtteri Filppula's leg apparently wasn't that bad, so he could play tonight.

Chris Higgins has some sorta foot infection that will take some time to remedy. He apparently had something similar last year and missed two weeks.

Mikael Samuelsson (hernia) is recovering and might be able to make his FLA (v2.0) debut this week.

Not like anyone would notice but Pavel Kubina missed last night's game and is day-to-day with a LBI.

Jose Theodore had the sniffles yesterday so he couldn't even sit on the bench last night.

Mikhail Grabovski missed last night's game to be with his pregnant wife.
