Wednesday's Injury Updates - Luongo, Booth, Harding...

Holy Injuries...

Roberto Luongo took a shot up around the neck/head area last night and left the game in some pain. He reported that he was "woozy" but returned to the bench later. Keep an eye on this to see if he shows any ill-effects in the coming days.

David Booth left last night's game with what looked like a pretty serious knee injury, we should learn more about the extent today.

Just injury scares here... Joffrey Lupul (knee), Corey Perry (leg) & Brian Gionta (face) all briefly left games last night but they were able to return and seem ok.

Valtteri Filppula's leg injury isn't serious but he wasn't able to play last night, so day-to-day he shall be listed.

Josh Harding was knocked out of last night's game about a minute in after getting hit by a teammate and suffering a UBI (possibly head/neck). Niklas Backstrom (groin) is expected to be ready for the Wild's next game on Thursday.

Also for the Wild, Devin Setoguchi left the game due to a knee injury. Not sure if it's serious.

It was just Kristian Huselius' second game back after being out for five months and now he's out again with a LBI... stay tuned for updates.

Curtis Glencross was sick last night, that's why he didn't play.

The Avs lost Ryan Wilson to a head injury, not sure on the extent.

Joni Pitkanen left last night's game early due to a LBI... this guy is the king of the day-to-day injuries.

Clarke MacArthur sat out last night's game due to a UBI... he'll be re-evaluated today.

Alex Goligoski is almost recovered from his broken thumb and could return Thursday, or shortly thereafter.

Alexander Semin (shoulder) expects to be back in the Caps lineup tonight.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Jeff Carter, Sergei Kostitsyn, Carlo Colaiacovo & Dan Ellis (dressed as backup).
