Thursday's Injury Updates - Crosby, Zajac, Luongo...
The Pens say it's only a precaution but this can only be taken as a negative as Sidney Crosby will sit out the next two games following taking a few bumps on Monday. They say tests showed that nothing was wrong with his head but that he reported feeling a little off... stay tuned.
Kristian Huselius could be out "weeks" after hurting his groin on Tuesday.
Travis Zajac participated in his first full practice since recovering from surgery on his achilles. It sounds like sometime next week is possible for a return date.
No apparent issues for Roberto Luongo as he says he's fine after taking that puck in the neck on Tuesday. We'll see if he's good to go tonight.
Not so good news for David Booth as he'll be out 4-6 weeks with a MCL injury.
Nathan Gerbe left last night's game after taking a hit from behind... been a rough couple of weeks for the little guy.
Brayden Schenn missed last night's game due to a UBI but the team is hopeful that he'll be ready to go tonight.
The Flames Henrik Karlsson is out for 6-8 weeks with a knee injury... so expect to see a lot of Kiprusoff and maybe a little of Leland Irving for the next few months.
Filip Kuba has missed the last four with a UBI and the team now says that he's out for the next 3-4 weeks with a shoulder injury.
Josh Harding's head/neck injury is, not to get too technical on ya, "sorta whiplash" according to the Wild. He's questionable for tonight's game and if it's anything like Reimer's or Miller's whiplash then he could be out a while.
I can't find anything but Danny Briere must be playing through some kinda injury as he played just nine minutes last night.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Alexander Semin & James van Riemsdyk.

I read something about Briere playing sparingly because he was dealing with the after effects of a virus.

Green
On Yahoo, reading the comments on John Carlson, I noticed that it said Green has a concussion. I can’t find that anywhere else. Anyone know if he has more than just a pulled groin?
must be a mistake… haven’t heard anything but the groin being an issue for him.
