MSL's Sears Catalog modelling days might be over
Martin St. Louis took a puck to the eye in practice yesterday and that ended his ironman streak at 499 games last night. It must have been pretty serious for him not to play but I wouldn't expect him to be out long, he'll shake it off.
Sergei Gonchar suffered a UBI in last night's game and had to exit. This guy has logged a lot of time in the sick bay over the years so fear the worst but hope for the best.
Sidney Crosby doesn't have a concussion but he had a slight headache after skating on Thursday... not a good sign.
Brian Gionta left last night's game early with an undisclosed injury... don't have any details yet.
A game and a half is all we get and now Kristian Huselius is out for 4-6 weeks with a groin injury.
Devin Setoguchi has a sprained knee and he's likely out for a while. On the brightside, he said the ligament wasn't fully torn... alright, maybe that side wasn't so bright either.
Cal Clutterbuck couldn't go last night, likely something to do with that charley horse he suffered last week.
Saku Koivu left last night's game early with a LBI.
Pavel Datsyuk left the Wings game early with a LBI... the game was already in the bag and Datsyuk had two assists so just a little rest for him and the Wings say he's fine.
Kevin Shattenkirk has the influenza and missed last night's game.
Does anyone out there really care about Andy Greene? Didn't think so. Well then don't mind that he missed last night's game with a foot/ankle injury.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Roberto Luongo, Valtteri Filppula, Mikael Samuelsson, Michael Grabner, Alec Martinez, Alex Goligoski, Brenden Morrow & Niklas Backstrom (backup).
