Tuesday's Injury Updates - M.Green, Biron, Reimer...
For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.
Mike Green is expected to miss "a couple of weeks" with his latest head injury but you never know with concussions, he could be out a lot longer.
Martin Biron broke his collarbone at practice yesterday and is expected to be out for at least six weeks. The Rangers called up Cameron Talbot to replace him but neither he nor Chad Johnson look like viable options so expect Lundqvist to carry a heavy load down the stretch.
James Reimer (neck) appears to be ok and will practice today.
Eric Staal (head injury) must have passed the tests he was given yesterday as he says he'll be back in the lineup tonight.
Anton Stralman is out 3-4 weeks with a knee injury.
Milan Michalek is out "long-term" due to the LBI he suffered on Saturday.
Pascal Leclaire played in the AHL this past weekend but he hurt himself again and will sit out a few weeks... no joke.
Chris Kunitz (LBI) has been skating but is not ready to return to practice yet.
Johan Franzen missed last night's game to be with his pregnant wife.
