Alex Ovechkin (undisclosed) has been back skating and says he should return to the lineup within the next week.

The Capitals aren't expected Mike Green (concussion) back anytime sooner than the last few games of the season.

It sounds like Zach Parise is really close to returning from his knee injury although it may have to wait until next week.

Brent Johnson missed last night's game with a UBI, he's listed as day-to-day.

Dustin Jeffrey left last night's game early with an undisclosed injury.

Jamie McBain (shoulder) is expected to be able to return either tonight or Saturday.

There was some hope that Mark Streit might be able to return before the end of the season from his training camp shoulder injury but the Islanders have officially shut him down.
