Sidney Crosby (concussion) has been cleared to return to practice, so another positive step in his attempted return... my best guess is that he's at least a week away from seeing game action.

Zach Parise (knee) has decided to hold himself out of the next two games and is targeting Saturday for his return.

Dennis Wideman was shaken up after a hit last night and left the game with LBI... the Caps are saying that he's day-to-day.

Kimmo Timonen left last night's game due to a LBI but the team says his status is day-to-day.

Jochen Hecht couldn't finish last night's game as his nagging UBI just won't go away.

Still waiting for the bad news on Dustin Jeffrey's knee injury... he had a MRI that didn't look good but they need to do some further evaluation.
