Friday's Injury Updates - Miller, P.Kane, Erat...

Stay connected for news and updates

Ryan Miller revealed yesterday that his late season injury that was thought to be a bruised collarbone was actually a concussion that he suffered due to a number of pucks to the head.  He seemed to recover from the injury quickly and looked normal during the playoffs but this is a little concerning.

Patrick Kane admitted that an ankle injury that he suffered back in December, causing him to miss eight games, affected him for the rest of the season.  I guess we should take that into consideration when evaluating his season but he had 16+30=46 in 44 games after the injury which was a better rate of production than the 11+16=27 in 29 games that he put up prior to the injury so I won't be reading into it too much.

As expected, Sami Salo (leg) wasn't able to go last night.  He didn't skate yesterday either and dude isn't the quickest healer so I'm guessing he could be out a while.

Martin Erat returned last night after missing two games with a UBI... he played 18 minutes last night so he appears to be fine.
