Monday's Injury Updates - Gagne, Kubina, Nodl...

Stay connected for news and updates

Simon Gagne (concussion) has been skating and the team said that he could have practiced yesterday so it sounds like he's feeling good and should be considered a good bet to return for game #1 vs Boston.

Pavel Kubina hasn't skated since he suffered a head injury in game #1 against Washington.  The team is still calling him day-to-day but it doesn't appear as though he's making much progress.

So Pavel Datsyuk (wrist) and Johan Franzen (ankle) were both game-time decisions last night but both played through the pain.

Some injury housecleaning for the Flyers... Chris Pronger (various injuries) and Mike Richards (wrist) may need offseason surgery to fix them up properly and it was revealed yesterday that Andreas Nodl missed the last nine games of the playoffs due to a concussion.
