I'm in the second year of a five-year, 12 team keeper league. It's a points league, heavier on goals, with scoring as follows: Goals (1.5), Assists (1.0), Wins (3.0), Shutouts (2.5). (note: we only play 123 goalie games (i.e., 75%) due to the dearth of available goalies - a lesson learned last season).

We have 18 positions as follows: C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

The first 9 guys on my team are my keepers from last season. After the jump, please review my team and let me know how I did and where I might need to improve. (Starting in round 11 I picked 2nd overall in a snake draft, but 10th round I picked 10th based on reverse order of last year's standings).

D: Kevin Shattenkirk (8), Cam Fowler (9), Alex Pietrangelo (10), Marek Zidlicky (12)

G: Roberto Luongo (2), Corey Crawford (6), Michael Neuvirth (15)

I have no idea how Hemsky went all the way to the second last pick of the 18th round - something to do with the Yahoo! default rankings I suspect. I was leaning toward Adam Larsson (D) with that pick, but thought I might be able to trade Hemsky for someone better.

Players I did not keep from last season include: Spezza (C), Kronwall (D), Pitkanen (D), Burrows (LW), Campbell (D), Roloson (G), Leino (LW), J. Staal (C,LW), and Lindback (G). Have I improved my team?
