Grabner
2 goals tonite.
I’m not sold, but he had a monster 2nd half last year, too.

I want to complain but I really can’t.
I’d probably put Giroux over Perry
and drop Versteeg down
and raise Vrbata up (did I just type that)
Just splitting hairs.

I’ve had Versteeg low-ish all year. I could see moving him down some, but he is still ranked 7th at the position. Also not sure how much missing Weiss for a stretch at the end of Dec impacted him.
Perry has been much better than Giroux over the last 2 weeks. He has 8 points in his last 6 games (6 goals, 2 assists) and a +5 rating while Giroux has only 3 points in his last 6 games (0 goals, 3 assists) and an ugly -6 rating. It is a good battle. Although I wonder a bit about lingering effects of Giroux’s recent concussion, it will probably go down to the wire.

I like Iggy to be a lot higher by the end of the year… he’s had 11+15=26 over his last 25 games.

Iginla
Good point, Cam.
Historically, he’s a slow starter and 2nd half demon.
At the time, I posted this, he was ranked 21st.
I ranked him 18th — factoring in his recent surge + some of his 2nd half history — but he should be higher. Esp. w/ the Cammy re-acquistion and Giordano back from injury.
