Sunday's Injury Updates - Koivu, Henrique, JVR...
Uh-oh... Mikko Koivu left last night's game holding his arm and didn't return. His shoulder was in a sling after the game so this could be serious.
Adam Henrique sat out yesterday's game due to a strained groin. The Devils have been saying that it's just a precaution and they don't want it to get worse. He's listed as day-to-day.
The Flyers are now going with the upfront route and have announced that James van Riemsdyk is out indefinitely with a concussion. What we're not clear on is how or when it happened but let's hope he can make a speedy recovery.
Brayden McNabb has a possible concussion and is also out indefinitely.
Carolina has activated Jeff Skinner (concussion) from the IR, so it appears that he should be good to play in tonight's game in Washington.
Anze Kopitar showed no ill effects as he scored last night after leaving Thursday night's game injured.
Todd Bertuzzi returned after missing a game with a back injury and he potted two goals against Chicago.
Scott Gomez returned after missing 21 games with a groin injury and is still without a goal this year.

What is your sense of when we’ll Dexshow, finally, b/w the pipes for CBJ?

This is purely speculation but I don’t know if we’ll see it this year.
Who are they going to demote if they bring him up? Can’t see them sending Mason down (although they probably should) and Sanford has been pretty decent this year.

agreed, he might have to wait till one of those guys goes down injured. But I hope they give him at least a few games, it’s not like they have anything else to play for.

that’s what I was thinking. they need to give him an audition to see what they have, if anything, before the trade deadline/off-season.

do you really think in net behind that defense is the best thing for Dekanich
isn’t that kind of what seems to have ruined Mason

they should have low expectations for the rest of the season and Sanford has shown that he can handle the situation a lot better than Mason has.

I think what’s ruined Mason is his lack of talent and skill.

Sanford has been ok. I think that D is better than people realize.

McNabb
Anyone w/ scoop on the severity of McNabb’s injury.
The little I was able to find sounds like the Sabres think he’ll be back relatively soon.

well he’s not on the road trip which started last night and lasts seven games but he could rejoin it at any time. Really nobody has any idea.
