Wednesday's Daily Dosage - Couturier, Tavares, Brodeur...

This is the face of a stone-cold goalie killer

The amazing Sean Couturier with another goal to run his goal scoring streak to five games. Last night's was a SHG & GWG to boot. Again, tonnes of upside here but he's limited on this team due to his ice-time, PP opps & linemates.

It's a double-digit streak for John Tavares as he has 6+11=17 during a 10 game streak. His buddy, Matt Moulson, had 2A last night and has 3+6=9 during a five game streak of his own. Even P.A. Parenteau, who isn't on their line any more, is rolling with two goals last night and 3+8=11 over his last 10.

GWG & two points for bad boy Kyle Turris last night and he's settling in with the Sens to the tune of 3+5=8 & plus-8 over his last 10 games.

Martin Brodeur has been dropping hints that he's having fun right now and leaning towards playing again next season. With how he's performed this year, many of you might be hoping he retires but he's been pretty effective lately going 5-1-1, 2.22 & .921 over his last eight games.

Brent Burns may be one of Jay's biggest disappointments this year but the dude is trying to make it up to his owners with 1+4=5 & 20 shots over his last six games.

Vincent Lecavalier with another 2-point effort, he's done that four times in his last five games (3+5=8). He's still scoring at his lowest rate (.80 ppg) in his last nine seasons.

It was his first start in seven games and James Reimer showed a little rust as he refunded a two goal lead and then gave up a weak GWG to Turris. He has given up 3+ goals in nine of 12 since returning from his don't-call-it-a-concussion.

I'd like to see him playing more but Ryan Johansen saw 14 minutes of ice-time last night and scored a goal. He now has a modest 3+3=6 over his last 11 games.

Ilya Kovalchuk with a pair of goals last night and he's had an oddly magical run with 10 multi-point efforts & six games with nothing over his last 16 for a total of 10+11=21.

Cam Ward stopped 40 of 41 last night but was still SOL in Pittsburgh. I haven't been paying much attention to him lately so missed that he's actually strung together six straight games with two or less goals against... giving him a solid 3-2-1, 1.82 & .947 over those six games.

Ben Smith has been on a yo-yo between Rockford & Chicago... as of right now, he's with the big club.

Heading back to he minors is Kyle Cumiskey, Kyle Palmieri & Cal O`Reilly (after clearing waivers).
