Wednesday's Injury Updates - Hall, Clowe, Skinner...

Stay connected for news and updates

Scary one here... Taylor Hall fell during the warm-up and Corey Potter practically stepped on his face... very ouch. Reports say that he was ok but took in the neighbourhood of 30 stitches. He sat out last night's game and we'd assume that he'll miss a few more while it heals.

Ryane Clowe missed last night's game with a UBI that is related to a hit he took on Jan 10th that broke his nose. Nobody is saying concussion, so we're just speculating.

It was the second game back for Jeff Skinner and he was blown-up by Orpik and went to the quiet room for some quiet time. He returned to the game, so apparently he's ok but sometimes these things get worse after a few days. Keep your fingers crossed.

The Caps think that Nicklas Backstrom could return next week after missing the last six due to a concussion.

Still waiting on official word if Ed Jovanovski's hand is broken.

Jacob Josefson played in his first game since October after recovering from a broken clavicle.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Brandon Dubinsky & Tyler Bozak.
