Friday's Injury Updates - Plekanec, Tanguay, Hedman...

Tomas Plekanec left last night's game with a facial injury. In what has become mandatory coachspeak, he was prevented from returning to the game as a "precaution".

Daymond Langkow took a puck to the face last night and had to leave the game... I'm sure your team is in tatters due to his loss.

Scottie Upshall could return tonight, he's be out since November with an abdominal injury.

More returns here... Alex Tanguay has missed the past 14 games due to a UBI but he's getting close and could return Saturday.

Alexander Steen (concussion) was thought to be ready to return last night but he's still not 100%.

Victor Hedman has resumed skating after missing the past 10 games with a concussion.
