Saturday's Injury Updates - Glencross, Tanguay, Benn...

Stay connected for news and updates

Glencross will be out in the cold for a while

Bad news for Curtis Glencross owners as his knee injury is expected to keep him out for at least six weeks. I guess this makes it less awkward that he was being demoted to the 2nd line to make room for Cammalleri.

Better news for the Flames... Alex Tanguay (UBI) could return from injury tonight. Nothing official yet but if he doesn't play tonight it doesn't sound like he'll be out much longer.

Sounds like Jamie Benn is getting close to returning. He had his appendix out Sunday but might be able to play on Tuesday and could still suit up for the All Star Game.

Ryan Suter (UBI) practiced yesterday but is considered doubtful to play tonight.

Zack Smith left Thursday's game as a precaution after taking a hit but he was back at practice yesterday and should be in the lineup tonight.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Scottie Upshall & Sean Bergenheim.
