Chasing Zach Parise
I covet Zach Parise
I am not ashamed of this.
I am in a 16 team keeper league Yahoo! standard scoring plus GWG and Hits
Currently in 2nd place on the strength of my big 3 Malkin, Kovalchuk and Gaborik and Goaltending
the big 3 would not be replaced by Parise so to remain in the hunt I wouldn't care to move them.

What should I be willing to give to get him.

You’re trying to pick up his 2nd best player and if you don’t want to include any of your top three it might be a tough sell.
I think Gaborik is the perfect guy to package up with some others.
What place is he in? Can you send him a few prospects?
Also drop Lauri Korpikoski. lol

I thought you would like that I was still carrying your buddy Korpedo :-)
I’ve been shopping him for some Hits or PIM’s, no takers yet.
offered him for Ponikarovsky yesterday but haven’t heard back yet
I like him better in NJ than Carolina.
here is where we are current standings

Offensively we are weak in the same areas PIM’s, Hits
GWG for him but that’s to random unless you have a Malkin
it’s still fairly tight and I could be anywhere from 2nd to 6th with a bad week
I thought maybe one of my goalie of the near future plus a Gagner or Berglund if he were doing better
I will only have room to keep 3 or 4 goalies max end of year
would not like to lose Rask, Harding or Schneider but would for Parise
I think you’re right though
I may have to make a couple of other deals so I can offer something

If you believe in Parise, then I agree with Jay, Gaborik is probably the most attractive asset that you’d be willing to deal.

the original plan at draft was grab Gabby get on a roll and move him
then I started watching the Rangers, and started liking them
Then Hagelin came up traded for Dubie, and now I can’t do it :-(

I like the Gaborik idea.
Or see if he’ll bite on goaltender as he’s pretty weak there.

It’s just so hard to let go
Nobody believed in Gabby but me, now I can’t push him out of the nest.
so if you needed a goalie which would be your choice?
